Holy Family
Academy is located in the heart of the Willamette
Valley just outside Gervais, Oregon and about
a ten minute drive from the City of Mt. Angel
where some of our richest resources are found
in the Monks and Priests associated with several
different monastic disciplines. These include
the Benedictines of Mt. Angel Abbey, the Caremlites
and the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit. |
Although we
find ourselves blessed with the nearness of
these priceless resources, our school also relies
on the fiancial generosity of friends and benefactors
to complete our educational mission. Currently
it costs on average about $4,000 to educate
a student, not including building maintenance
and repairs. |

There are many ways
you can help us accomplish our mission: |

• Financial donations
to the general fund. |

Donations to this fund
are used by the school for costs associated
with accomplishing its mission, whether
it be building repairs, a needed scholarship,
books or other supplies... in short whatever
the School Board considers the most pressing
need of the moment. |

• Donations to our scholarship fund. |
|
| |
When you donate to our
scholarship fund you are assured the funds
will provide much needed assistance to
deserving and needy students and their
families by directly subsidizing the cost
of tuition. Scholarships awards are based
on financial need. |

|
• Donations to the building maintenance fund. |
|
| |
Keeping the buildings and
all associated facilities in good working
order is sometimes very costly. Unexpected
expenses crop up from time to time and
can quickly deplete our maintenance fund.
Your tax deductible donation to this fund
helps us keep children and staff warm, dry and
safe. |

• Building maintenance projects. |
|

|
During the summer of 2009 parents and volunteers renovated the
basement classrooms and built new shelving
or rebuilt old shelving. Our next project
is to renovate the bathrooms. We are looking
for 4 stools, 2 urinals and 3 sinks. These
need not be new, but we do need them to
be in good condition. We will need a plumber
as well who could donates some time to
our project. If you can help or have information
